Amanda

Childcare Manager, Designated Safeguarding Lead & Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator

Amanda has worked in childcare for over 25 years, specialising in working with children with special needs, during that time. For 21 of those years she has worked at 3 Corners!

Amanda has two grown-up children and two grandchildren.

Amanda's the one who likes getting the children outside in the mud!

Kariss

​Deputy Manager and Deputy Safeguarding Lead

Kariss has worked at 3 Corners since 2018. This is her second time round with us, after taking some time off to have her first child. She also has experience of working in a private day nursery with 0 – 2 year olds.

Kariss has two children.

Jo

Senior Childcare Practitioner

Jo joined the 3 Corners team in 2009.  She is a mother of four and grandparent of five, which has given her plenty of hands-on experience with children. 

Jo (or JoJo as most of the children call her) is the imaginative storyteller, complete with silly voices!

Sue

Senior Childcare Practitioner

Sue started working at 3 Corners in 2011, after spending a few years being a stay-at-home mum.  Sue has been in childcare for over 20 years working in various roles including nanny, day nursery practictioner and then progressing on to Nursery Manager.

Sue has two children and two grand-children.

Sue loves to get the children out and about.

Zara

Childcare Practitioner

Zara has been part of 3 Corners team since 2013. She has experience of working in private day nurseries, holiday clubs abroad and is a mum of two.

Zara is all for fun and games and always laughing.

Lucy

Childcare Practitioner

Lucy has been at 3 Corners since 2019, she started as a playworker in the Out of School Club, then did an Early Years apprenticeship with us and has since completed a degree in Early Years.

Katie

Childcare Practitioner

Katie joined 3 Corners in 2022. She started part-time in our Out of School Club, then decided she wanted to further her knowledge in this area and successfully completed an Early Years apprenticeship at 3 Corners.

Katie is a cricket fan and often does the scoring at her local cricket club.

Maisie

Childcare Practitioner

Maisie has been with us since January 2024. She started with an Early Years apprenticeship, which she successfully completed in early 2026.

Maisie is a big Leeds United fan and gets to as many games as she can!
